Permax, developed by Eli Lilly, and Dostinex developed by Pfizer, are dopamine agonists used in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. The drugs were also perscribed for people suffering from restless leg syndrome. Permax and Dostinex have been linked to a similar type of heart valve damage as the diet drug fen-phen.
